2017 EVENT GUIDELINES NOW AVAILABLE

It's that time again... Do you want your brewery, venue or business to be part of Australia’s leading celebration of the best of the beer world? Then it’s time to get creative and start planning your events as registrations for Good Beer Week 2017 open on October 1.

The seventh Good Beer Week runs across Melbourne and Victoria from May 13-21, 2017 and to ensure we can put together our best program yet we need your ideas submitted by no later than October 31, 2016.

Once again, the festival described as the best, most diverse and most professional in the world by visiting guests from major international craft breweries will feature five streams and is looking for a colourful mix of events that cater for everyone from the newcomer to the nerd, from the foodie to the fun lover. We’re looking for events that take good beer into new places, whether that is geographically or socially.

PLEASE NOTE: The website will not be available to accept registrations until October 1, 2016. We are sending you the guidelines first to get your thinking caps on!

HOW MUCH EVENT INFO DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?

When submitting your event proposal for the 2017 Good Beer Week program, you do not need to know 100% of the events details from October 1. However, at a minimum, you do need to pitch to us the following:

VENUE
DATE & TIMES
EVENT STREAM
EVENT DESCRIPTION

Tell us your grand plans! We understand that this far out from the festival it can be difficult to lock in brewers and beers etc, but dream big. We want unique offerings with a good mix of free and ticketed events to give the 75,000 attendees plenty of options throughout the ten days. If you are having trouble with an event idea and need to talk through it, feel free to contact our team at info@goodbeerweek.com as we are happy to help.

Once your event has been approved by the Good Beer Week committee in November, you have until January 31 to finalise your details.

If your event is not approved, the team will contact you to discuss how your event could be improved. If your event is unsuccessful, you will be refunded the registration fee minus a 10% administration fee.

Payment must be made in full to be presented to the Good Beer Week Committee for consideration in the program.
